MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Connector Mating

In order to maintain proper ingress protection, it is important that a proper connection is made to the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III IO and Ethernet connectors.

The connector should be mated using its correct keying position and orientation. The screw thread should be tightened to fully mated position. If using an Advanced Navigation supplied cable, a visible red band indicates that the connector is not mated correctly. See Environmental Exposure
