Boreas A70 / A90
The Boreas series provide a high-end Inertial Navigation System (INS) which excel in GNSS denied and degraded environments. They deliver:
- Accurate orientation and heading in GNSS denied environments.
- Reliable position and navigation.
The Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is driven by Fibre Optic Gyroscopes (FOG) and accelerometers which feed data into a sophisticated fusion algorithm. All units are certified for rugged environmental conditions.
North-seeking gyrocompassing determine accurate heading in GNSS denied environments using the earth’s rotation.
- D variants include an internal GNSS receiver, with options for which receiver is selected.
- A variants don't include GNSS receiver, but can receive input from an external GNSS.
