NMEA Fix Behaviour

Clear Existing Packets

When set to a value associated with a port (see Port Configuration Packet) it deletes any existing packet rates on that port. When set to zero existing packet rates remain on all ports. Only one packet rate can exist per message and port, so new packet rates will overwrite existing packet rates for the same message and port.

Remote Packets

In case the Port (see Port Configuration Packet) is configured with a remote device as its data source, only Remote packets can be added to the port. Remote packets are aperiodic and will be generated whenever available. Packet rate should be configured as 9 (50 Hz) for aperiodic packets.

Note that not all remote packets are compatible with all remote devices, if an incompatible packet is added it will never be generated by Subsonus.
